What do you do in Rope Hero: Vice Town?
Rope Hero: Vice Town follows a masked vigilante named Rope Hero, who uses a grappling hook and rope to travel throughout the city, similar to Spiderman. There is no main story here. Simply roam around like a “superhero” and take up any quests you come across while you explore the region.
Rope Hero is unique in that he does not have any powers. His combat abilities range from punching and kicking to using firearms and explosives on his opponents. He is unique in that you have complete control over his activities, allowing you to injure anyone, not just evil guys.
This game resembles a free, reduced version of Grand Theft Auto, with low-quality visuals. You can explore, pick up glowing stuff from the ground, visit specific buildings to buy ammo and cosmetics, and do numerous odd jobs ranging from bringing down syndicates to finishing a race. The city is not as realistic and interactive as subsequent GTA games, but it is still large enough to keep you busy for a while.
Can we play multiplayer in Rope Hero: Vice Town?
Unfortunately, unlike other action game series, Rope Hero: Vice Town does not offer multiplayer mode. However, the quantity of content available is still quite substantial for a free single-player game, so the lack of any PvP or co-op features can be overlooked. For begin, there are several quests available. These are standard hero duties, such as apprehending criminals and defeating supervillains.
Explore the map to discover minigames. These might range from collecting stuff within a specific time frame to surviving a lethal encounter. Going around can reward you with hidden trinkets and achievement points for repeating certain acts. Rewards typically include in-game cash that may be used to purchase stuff such as new weapons, health and stamina boosters, cosmetics, vehicles, and superhero skins that enhance your powers.
Although the game’s instruction makes it easy to play, the controls can be annoying. For starters, moving using the virtual joystick is inconvenient when you turn as your camera does. Both this and the camera can be slow to respond to user input. This makes shooting even more irritating because you have to aim well to deliver more harm. Additionally, advertisements play continuously around the city.
Needs some fine-tuning
Overall, Rope Hero: Vice Town is a terrific free-to-play game for those who enjoy action-shooter mobile games with a superhero theme. The game feels quite similar to GTA, especially with the ability to injure NPCs and be hunted by police. The game’s awkward controls and obtrusive advertising can rapidly get repetitive, despite the opportunity to win rewards by watching them.
